I agree with your statement above, but I am concerned that this bill does not go far enough to defend our privacy rights from Flock cameras. I believe they violate our 4th amendment rights. If all Flock cameras did was to have lists of wanted license plate numbers uploaded to them, and then reported in when one was found, I would have no problem with them. But that is not what they do. They create searchable databases of the comings and goings of people not suspected of crimes, and for whom no warrants have been obtained as required for any constitutional search. Until Flock cameras can be reprogrammed in this way, I oppose any government organization in Washington deploying them.
